in the name of , one, compatibility. two, riding the fame.
that, is the nature of C++.
the most fundamental nature of C++.

ride popularity in the name of compatibility.
and this, is a fundamental reason, lots things in comp sucks and are the extreme worst shit possible.
the moment C++ ceases to be compatible with C, C++ dies overnight.
this disease of compatibility, is why, we have one ton of the worst shit syntax in comp lang, all inherited from C.
namely, C++, java, perl, javascript, golang, C#, D, etc.
the disease of compatibility n familiarity, is the biggest harm of proper design.
they prey on habit.
and in a transparent, almost undetectable way.
now, normally, this is how things r in the world. namely, habit, tradition, governs vast majority of how things are. we change slowly, improve slowly, by evolution. Not by one big new unfamiliar design or categorical change.
including natural languages, for example, english vs esperato or lojban.
the latters, are much more easier to learn, easier to use. BUT, english trumps them, by habit and familiarity. Namely, compatibility!!!
now, in comp field, this is of course true. however, there are certain skums, who, specifically, use this to promote themselfs.

more specifically, these types of people, erase, dismiss, everything about proper design, as if such a concept does not exist. Instead, they insist, trumpet, that their things are the MOST compatible, MOST easy to use (because of familiarity.).
