Unicode changed the name / from slash to solidus. Extremely idiotic.
Silly Unicode Name Change: CENTER to CENTRE
in Unicode, the name of the character
✲ (U+2732: OPEN CENTRE ASTERISK)
is changed from OPEN CENTER ASTERISK to OPEN CENTRE ASTERISK. What's the technical reason they make such a silly change? Political reason?
