What is ErgoEmacs (2007 to 2015)

• ErgoEmacs was a emacs distribution for Microsoft Windows.
• ErgoEmacs was designed to be easy to use for average people. You download the zip file, everything runs out of the box, with enhanced emacs init and most needed packages or libraries all bundled.
• ErgoEmacs was the most popular emacs distro for Microsoft Windows users.
• A major feature of ErgoEmacs is the ErgoEmacs keybinding. which uses easy key shortcuts. ErgoEmacs Mode
• The project began around 2007, and ended around 2013 to 2015.
• It was began by Xah Lee, with major help of David Capello 〔https://davidcapello.com/〕
• In 2013, i stopped ErgoEmacs, due to dying of hunger, risk becoming homeless.
• ErgoEmacs-mode keybinding package ErgoEmacs Mode is maintained by Matthew L Fidler 〔https://github.com/mattfidler〕. I started Emacs: Xah Fly Keys 📦
• The domain name ergoemacs.org hosts all xah lee's emacs tutorial and blogs about ErgoEmacs. The website ergoemacs.org is active from about 2011 to 2020. All its content moved back to xahlee.info.

David Capello 〔https://davidcapello.com/〕 made these beautiful and fantastic ErgoEmacs drawings, in 2008. He drafted some 50 logos and drawings, with much attention to creating a style that i believe he believed i might like, from seeing my website materials.
