Buying Headset
USB or 3.5mm Plug?
Those using 3.5mm plug uses your computer's sound chip to work. Those using USB has a builtin digital-to-analog sound chip. It's said, that your computer's sound chip is usually better quality, but today most headset above $30 are fairly good.
Those with 3.5mm plug, it is very annoying to plug in two plugs each time you want to use a headset. (one for mic, one for headphone) if you leave them plugged in, your speakers is muted. Or, you have to goto your audio settings to switch the source input and output.
Wired or Wireless?
Audio quality of wireless headphone may not be as good. Also, you have to use battery. And may be heavier.
Gamer Headset or Normal?
Gamer headset is often bulky and ugly with useless features and enclose your whole ears and shut off outside sound (for โimmersionโ feel.). It's that way due to the market of ignorant teens.
Normal or professional headset, is light, easy to put on/off, and more comfort.

HyperX Cloud II
A friend has this, he likes it.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
Got this one on 2021-04. I use it on Microsoft Windows 10 gaming machine. Don't like it much.
- The mic sensitivity is too low. Max Windows 10 mic gain is not much help.
- It is annoying to have to plug 2 plugs (mic and headphone) every time. if you leave it plugged in, your speaker will be muted. Also, everytime you plug one in, Windows 10 pops up a dialog asking if it's a mic or headphone, so you have to do this twice. Very annoying. (USB headset no have this problem.)
- Too heavy for me. I prefer light.
- A bit more tight than i prefer. I don't have big head even.
