I dislike any keyboard with palm rest. If it cannot be detached, no buy. Use bath towels or books instead. Much more practical and comfy.
Best palm rest is bath towels. They are thick, soft, cheap, and you can wash them.
Hover Hand When in Touch-Typing
When you type for a long period of time (say, continuously for 10 minutes), you should hover your hands, not rest palm on palm rest or desk.
Most of the time i got lazy and rest palm on my Kinesis Advantage2 Keyboard . But whenever next few min am gonna type nonstop in a burst, i hover. From experience, not hover causes stress on hand. I learned this the hard way. sometimes when typing in a burst and too lazy to hover, as in a debate, the next morning, hand sour.
i learned to start to hover per the proper way, since around 2014. Even on super ergonomic keyboard such as Kinesis Advantage2 Keyboard .
Alternatively, use thick books or tower, about 5cm high, so that your fingers dip onto the keys. On kinesis, ur fingers already dip in, but i think not high enough. The point is, even when on kinesis, i feel less stress if i hover to type.
