Alt+x image-dired to view thumbnails of all images in a directory.

Note: image-dired is a alias to image-dired-show-all-from-dir. And it was also named tumme before emacs 24.x.

Most Useful Commands

{ image-dired-forward-image, image-dired-backward-image, image-dired-previous-line, image-dired-next-line } Focus on next/prev thumbnail.

image-dired-display-next-thumbnail-original show next image.
Backspace ⌫
image-dired-display-previous-thumbnail-original show previous image.

Image Cache Dir

The generated thumbnails are stored at ~/.emacs.d/image-dired/
